eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood
through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. (21) For even though they knew God, they did not
honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations,
and their foolish heart was darkened. (22)
Professing to be wise, they became fools, (23) and
exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of
corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling
creatures. (24) Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of
their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among
them. (25) For they exchanged the truth of God for a
lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is
blessed forever. Amen. (26) For this
reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the
natural function for that which is unnatural, (27) and in the
same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in
their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and
receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. (28) And just as they did not see fit to

12:16-21 And He told them
a parable, saying, "The land of a rich man was
very productive. (17) "And he began reasoning to himself, saying, 'What shall
I do, since I have no place to store my crops?' (18) "Then he said, 'This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build
larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. (19) 'And I will say to my
soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years to come; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry."' (20) "But God said to
him, 'You fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you have prepared?' (21) "So is the man

READ: Mat
7:21-27 "Not everyone who says to Me,
'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My
Father who is in heaven will
enter. (22) "Many will say
to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in
Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many
miracles?' (23) "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you;
DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.' (24) "Therefore
everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them,
may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. (25) "And the rain
fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house;
and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. (26) "Everyone who
hears these words of Mine and does not act on them,
will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. (27) "The rain fell,
and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it
fell--and great was its fall."
