FIVE "MUST"S OF THE BIBLE!

1. ONE MUST HAVE FAITH IN GOD:

Hebrews 11:6, And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Psalms 19:1, The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.

2. ONE MUST BELIEVE ON JESUS, THE CHRIST:

John 8:21-24, He said therefore again to them, "I go away, and you shall seek Me, and shall die in your sin; where I am going, you cannot come." Therefore the Jews were saying, "Surely He will not kill Himself, will He, since He says, 'Where I am going, you cannot come'?" And He was saying to them, "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. "I said therefore to you, that you shall die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you shall die in your sins."

A. Can't just believe He was a good man - prophet - etc.

B. Must believe in the miracles

C. But, He Himself asked some "And why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and DO NOT the things which I say" (Luke 6:46).

In order that men could believe on Him as the divine Son of the 'living God," He performed many miracles which are recorded in the New Testament (John 20:30-31, Many other signs therefore Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

3. ALL MEN MUST BE BORN AGAIN TO BE IN CHRIST'S KINGDOM:

John 3:3-5, Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born, can he?" Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Titus 3:4-5 But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

Peter to those on Pentecost....(Acts 2:37-38) Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brethren, what shall we do?" And Peter said to them, "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Notice ..... In (Acts 9:6), the Lord told Saul that he would be told what he MUST DO in the city.

MUST DO FOR WHAT SOME ASK?

He was a believing, penitent, praying, confessing believer in Christ, it is obvious that what he MUST DO involved being forgiven of his sins!

See (Acts 22:16) 'And now why do you delay? Arise, and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.'

4. CHRISTIANS MUST WORSHIP GOD "IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH:"

(John 4:23-24) "But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

5. WE MUST ALL STAND BEFORE THE JUDGE:

2 Cor 5:10, For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
