The LOVE of Sin
John 3:19-20, "And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed."
Hebrews 11:25, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more, as you see the day drawing near."
The PRACTICE of sin
Romans 3:10 "as it is written, 'THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS, NOT EVEN ONE;'"

The STATE of Sin
Isaiah 59:1-2, "Behold, the LORD'S hand is not so short That it cannot save; Neither is His ear so dull That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear."
Ephesians 2:12, "remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world."
The GUILT of Sin
Psalm 51:2, "Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin."

FAITH .....Destroys the Love of Sin -

REPENTANCE.....Destroys the Practice of Sin
Isa. 55:7, "Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to the LORD, And He will have compassion on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon."
2 Cor 7:9-10, "I now rejoice, not that you were made sorrowful, but that you were made sorrowful to the point of repentance; for you were made sorrowful according to the will of God,in order that you might not suffer loss in anything through us. For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but the sorrow of the world produces death."
BAPTISM.....Destroys the State of Sin -
Acts 2:38, "And Peter said to them, "Repent, and let each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
Rom. 6:3, "Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been

FORGIVENESS.....Destroys the Guilt of Sin -
Ps. 86:5, "For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in lovingkindness to all
who call upon Thee."

RESURRECTION.....Destroys the Punishment of Sin -
